COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />Res. #21- I <br />A RESOLUTION TO NOT WAIVE <br />LIABILITY INSURANCE LIMITS FOR LMCIT INSURANCE COVERAGE <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CENTERVILLE, <br />MINNESOTA <br />WHEREAS, the City of Centerville contracts with the League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust <br />for property, casualty, and liability insurance coverage; and <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes set the standard liability limits at$500,000 per claimant and <br />$1,500,000 per incident; and <br />WHEREAS, the City desires to minimize its exposure to loss; and <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Centerville that: <br />1. The City Council elects to not waive liability limits for the 2021 insurance renewal. <br />2. The City Administrator is authorized and directed to sign and return the waiver form <br />indicating this election along with the renewal information provided to the LMC1T <br />underwriters. <br />Passed and Adopted by the City of Centerville this 24th day of February, 2021. <br /> <br />Mayor, D.
