CITY OF CENTERVILLEREQUEST FOR ACTION Agenda Item # Department: RequestedMeetingDate: May 4, 2021 Planning and Zoning VI.1 TITLE OF ISSUE: Block 7 Concept Plans - Centra Homes BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: In late March, the City and Centra Homes entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), outlining the intentions of each party as we move towards development of the Block 7 property. The MOU left open the ability for the parties to explore various layouts for the project. Over the last month or so, city staff and Centra Homes have been working on a few layout concepts which each offer slightly different products, price points, aesthetics and other pro's and con's. We have boiled these explorations down to 3 concepts, attached for your review and comment, along with some supporting narratives, example pictures and "massing-style" renderings. Further, we have begun to explore the development's relationship to the Downtown Master Plan and Guidelines. We'll want to examine the implication of some elements in those guidelines and look at areas which may need flexibility through the Planned Unit Development process.
