The quality of life for our citizens is exceptional. Our commun ity <br />offers affordable housing, a variety of recreational and open space opportunities, convenient shopping, as well as very <br /> <br />responsive municipal services. <br /> <br />There are excellent educational opportunities available to our residents through the Centennial School District and <br />numerous quality colleges and universities within easy commuting distance. Our community affords the serenity, safety, <br /> <br />and stability of small-town living yet we are close to the amenities of the big city. <br /> <br />safe <br />in their homes, neighborhoods, parks, and schools. They are also appreciative of the high level of local safety services. <br /> <br />Our three Cities have combined resources to create the Centennial Lakes Police Department, a unique joint governance <br /> <br />law enforcement agency. We are comprised of 23 highly professional sworn and civilian personnel who are dedicated to <br />delivering quality safety service to our citizens. <br /> <br />Local fire protection and suppression service is provided by the Centennial Fire District and the Lexington Fire Department. <br /> <br />These agencies combine with the Centennial Lakes Police Department, the Allina and MHealth Ambulance services to <br /> <br />provide an excellent emergency medical rapid response system. <br /> <br />Our police department responds to all calls for service, enforces criminal and traffic laws, provides deterrent patrol, <br />engages in proactive policing and problem-solving measures, and fosters positive interactions with our citizens. <br /> <br />It is the Mission of the Centennial Lakes Police Department to enhance the quality of life for those living in our three Cities <br /> <br />by providing highly professional and responsive safety service. <br /> <br />We are dedicated to carrying out our Mission with pride and professionalism.
