<br />Interstate Blue Logo Sign Program <br />Businesses have now committed to participation <br />in the Blue Sign program, including: <br /> <br /> Korner Express <br />Wiseguys Pizza <br />CenterMart <br /> <br />participation in the costs for the first year of <br />having the business logos placed on the blue <br />signs on the interstate. Since there is no sign for <br />our exit, it may take several months to get the <br />signs put up, due to a backlog of work and <br />material delays. <br /> <br />2021 Budget <br /> its meeting on 7/13. Initial thoughts are <br />to maintain their budget request of $22,800, hoping to build off the newly implemented <br />programs. <br /> <br />Minnesota Technology Corridor <br />Partners, Connexus Energy and Anoka County Regional Economic Development have <br />found another partner, in Comcast, to help fund the Excipio Data Center Feasibility Study <br />for the sites on Fairview St. in Centerville. With the funding now in place, the study <br />should begin shortly. The study will look at thnatural and man-made <br />disasters, as well as power, fiber and other infrastructure capabilities, followed by a <br />detailed cost analysis which will include an examination of tax credits from the state. <br /> <br />Small Business Relief Grants (DEED) <br />Grant recipients are being notified, but a complete list of <br />them is not yet available. <br />Quad Area Chamber of Commerce <br />New Logo <br />A new logo was recently chosen, from four options, by the <br /> <br />Lunch & Learns go Virtual <br />The Quad Area Chamber of Commerce is resuming its <br />regular schedule of Lunch and Learn Programing, <br />beginning in August. The meetings will be done via <br />videoconference. First topic: Making the Most of <br />Videoconferencing. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
