City <br />staff will be evaluating our expected expenses to determine what our total expenses may be <br />and if there is available funds for such things as a business relief program or to assist the <br />school district with their unreimbursed needs. Possible expenses include: <br /> <br /> Hand sanitizer, other cleaning products <br /> Facemasks <br /> Temp Plexiglass at front desk <br /> Downtown Construction Contract Change Order for COVID shut-down <br /> Related Engineering bills <br /> Employee idle time <br /> Professional cleaning services <br /> Police (our share of CLPD costs) <br />Fire (our share of CFD costs) <br />Election Sanitary Accommodations <br /> Mobile Computers and software and other remote work expenses <br /> City Hall Renovation Project (glass window at front counter) <br /> Cubical walls, etc. to promote social distancing <br /> <br />Staff plans to have a summary of these items and projected costs ready for discussion at our <br />th <br />August 26 meeting. The deadline for expending these funds is November 15, 2020. <br /> <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />Livable Communities <br />The city will need to decide whether or not to continue our enrollment in the Livable <br />Communities Act program. Participation in the program is required to be eligible for funding <br />sources which support housing and redevelopment projects. In 2020, over $23 Million in <br />funding will be made available. <br /> <br />Table 1.
