<br />Administrator/Engineer’s Report <br />February 28, 2018 <br />________________________________________________________________________ <br />ADMINISTRATION <br />Vacation Schedule <br />thth <br />I will be on vacation, from March 13 – 19. This means I will miss the March 14 City <br />Council meeting. Clerk Bender will attend the meeting, in my place. <br />Administrator Continuing Education Plan <br />No recent activity <br />Social Media Presence <br />City staff continues to work with Facebook to “verify” our account and to ensure its <br />operation is independent of our staff’s personal accounts. <br />2018 City Council Goals <br />A 2018 Goal Setting Meeting is scheduled for this meeting. <br />Staff Meetings <br />th <br />A monthly staff meeting was held on February 8. <br />STORMWATER/WETLAND <br />Local Water Plan <br />A draft of the Local Water Plan was presented by our consulting engineer at the last <br />meeting. We will look to authorize distribution of the plan to the Rice Creek Watershed <br />District and Met Council at our next meeting. If the City Council has any comments on <br />the plan, they should be submitted soon. The deadline for submittal is June of 2018. <br />Storm Water Capital Improvement Plan and Rate Study <br />Upon submittal of the Local Water Plan, we will utilize some of the information <br />from that plan to formulate a rate study. The study will also need to pull <br />information from the City’s Comprehensive Plan. <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT/PLANNING <br />st <br />United Properties’ 21 Ave. Distribution Center Developer’s Agreement Fulfilment <br />A Letter of Credit (LOC) has now been received, from United Properties for the overlay <br />of Fairview Avenue. This means that United Properties has now fulfilled all of its <br />st <br />obligations under the developer’s agreement for 21 Avenue. <br /> <br />
