PUBLIC WORKS/STREETS <br />Lino Lakes LaMotte Neighborhood Street and Utility Reconstruction <br />Lino Lakes city staff believes that a street project will be put forward, but may not <br />include adding municipal water service. <br />Labor Union Negotiations <br />The labor union has accepted the contract terms offered by the city council. Formal <br />contract language will be drafted in the coming weeks. <br />PARKS <br />Skating Rink <br />The warming house has been closed for the winter. The warmer temps have made <br />keeping ice on the hockey rink difficult. The please rink will remain open as long as <br />weather permits. <br />Dupre Artifact Agreement <br />Cataloging of the artifacts is nearly complete. <br />Parks Capital Improvement Plan and Park Dedication Fee Study <br />I attended the January Park and Rec Meeting to discuss the structure of Park Dedication <br />Fees and the need for a comprehensive study to properly justify those fees. We will bring <br />a proposal forward, for Council’s review, to complete a formal Park and Trails Master <br />Plan. <br />Centennial School District Community Education <br />Community Education Director Cori Sendle asked me to thank the city council for their <br />donation. We submitted information on our Music in the Park program and the Bald <br />Eagle Waterski Shows to be included in their spring booklet. <br />PUBLIC SAFETY <br />Centennial Fire District <br />A garage fire on Mound Court was successfully put out by our department, with <br />minimal damage to the garage. <br />Centennial Lakes Police Department <br />A death investigation is underway for an incident which occurred on Sunday, <br />th <br />February 25, in Centerville. All inquiries should be directed to the police chief. <br />There is not thought to be any danger to the public. <br />
