Downtown Water Main and Street Reconstruction
City staff met with Anoka County staff to review the necessary steps for another attempt
at a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) to complete the downtown water and
street project. Next steps include getting county and federal approval of an income
survey document and strategy. Once the plan for the income study is approved, we can
begin the survey.

PUBLIC WORKS/STREETS
Lino Lakes LaMotte Neighborhood Street and Utility Reconstruction
This project is now complete, with the exception of the final lift of paving, which will
take place next year.
PARKS
Mowing Contract
The bids for mowing of city property came in with favorable pricing, resulting in a
savings of around $10,000 annually versus our current contract.
Committee Vacancy
The parks committee still has one open seat. Please talk with friends and neighbors about
this opportunity to serve.

Long Range Capital Improvement Plan
The Parks and Recreation Committee has approved a draft of the Long Range Capital
Improvement Plan (CIP). This CIP would be the backbone of a Parks and Trails Master
Plan which would set the foundation for a well justified Park Dedication Fee. The CIP
will be on an upcoming City Council agenda for review and approval.

FETE DES LACS
Save the Date
The date for Fete des Lacs has been set:
Fete des Lacs 2019
July 16 - 21
PUBLIC SAFETY
Centennial Fire
District
Congratulations to Aaron
Olson, Eric Hestness, and
Ryan Buehler for
graduating from the Anoka
County Fire Academy.
