PARKS <br />Committee Vacancy <br />The parks committee still has one open seat. Please talk with friends and neighbors about <br />this opportunity to serve. <br /> <br />Long Range Capital Improvement Plan <br />The Parks and Recreation Committee has approved a draft of the Long Range Capital <br />Improvement Plan (CIP). This CIP would be the backbone of a Parks and Trails Master <br />Plan which would set the foundation for a well justified Park Dedication Fee. The CIP <br />will be on an upcoming City Council agenda for review and approval. <br /> <br />Skating Rinks <br />nd <br />The skating rinks at LaMotte Park were opened on January 2. The up and down <br />weather has made it difficult to get ice to stay on the hockey rink, but with the recent cold <br />spell, we were able to get some good ice established. Rink attendants are staffing the <br />warming house on a regular basis. <br /> <br />FETE DES LACS <br />Save the Date <br />The date for Fete des Lacs has been set: <br />Fete des Lacs 2019 <br />Fete des Lacs Committee <br />rd <br />n meeting in January on the 3 Monday of the month <br />at 6 PM. <br />PUBLIC SAFETY <br />Centennial Fire District <br /> December was a busy month, with 17 calls to our Station. In 2018, there were 4 structure <br />fires in Centerville. <br />Centennial Lakes Police Department <br /> CLPD will be awarding several lifesaving awards for officers who helped revive victims, <br />through use of CPR. <br />
