The conference includes topics such as <br />economic development and workforce readiness as well as an address by the Governor. <br />LMC Webinar: Budgeting 101 for Elected Officials <br />The League of MN Cities (LMC) is offering a free webinar for elected officials on <br />budgeting. It is being held on May 3, from 12:30 to 1:30. You can find more info at this <br />link LMC Budget Webinar <br />Local Board of Appeal and Equalization <br />Our assessor has prepared his annual report and we have the Local Board of Appeal and <br />Equalization meeting scheduled for this City <br />opportunity to comment on the taxable valuation of their property. The City Council may <br />take action as the Local Board to adjust individual evaluations based on public testimony <br />and input from their assessor. <br />Centennial Public Schools <br />Our city attorney has now drafted a letter issues surrounding the <br />letter has been sent to the School <br />District and County Surveyor. <br />We hope that this letter can lead <br />to a resolution of the issue. <br /> <br />Anoka County Heroes Walk for <br />Women Event <br />See left for details. <br /> <br />Rebranding <br />The committee has given an <br />opportunity for the Council and <br />EDA to give input on the Core <br />Essence Document and will now <br />work with a graphic designer to <br />take the attributes and values in it <br />and put them into a logo and tag <br />line. <br /> <br /> <br />
