Site utilities, start 5/31/21 <br /> <br />Old Mill Estates <br />The developer is beginning work on site clean-up, landscaping, tree planting, sidewalks, trails, <br />mailbox and street sign installation. Punch list work related to infrastructure continues. The <br />city retains a letter of credit to cover these items. Lots are for sale. <br /> <br />th <br /> <br />Centerville Storage (20Ave. Mini Storage) <br />The builder is working on curb and gutter this week, with paving to follow the week after. <br />Fending and landscaping will be the final work on the job. They plan to open their doors <br />st <br />. Keep an eye out for a grand opening. <br /> <br />Bay View Villas (Waterworks Site) <br />The contractor has made significant progress on Punch List items related to utilities. Other <br />items remain, including landscaping, ped ramps, mailboxes and shoreline plantings. The city <br />retains a letter of credit to cover these items. <br /> <br />Peltier Estates <br />The Preliminary Plat and Preliminary Planned Unit Development for Peltier Estates were <br />th <br />approved by the City Council at their March 24 meeting. Final documents are being <br />prepared and will be considered in May. Construction of the development could begin as <br />early as June. <br /> <br />Atlas Villas Memory Care Project (1825 Main Street) <br />Building construction work continues as the new facility takes shape on Main Street. <br /> <br />Driveway and Parking Ordinance Review <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission continues to work diligently on issues related to what <br />and where certain vehicles can be parked on residential properties. Both the existing <br />ordinance and the one being contemplated by P&Z do not allow parking of any vehicles in <br />the front yard (not on the driveway). <br /> <br />Block 7 Property (Downtown) <br />A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the City and Centra Homes to <br />further detail the agreement for constructing to <br />downtown. Centra Homes is working with an architect to explore various site layouts, <br />townhome models and driveway and visitor parking arrangements. These options were <br />shared with the Planning and Zoning Commission at its May 4, 2021 meeting. <br /> <br />Development Inquiries <br /> Mini Storage use looking for vacant land appropriately zoned. <br /> Apartment Developer looking for open land or redevelopment opportunity for 30-50 <br />units/acre density with minimum of 300 units. <br /> <br /> <br />
