retains a letter of credit to cover these items. <br /> <br />Peltier Estates <br />The Preliminary Plat and Preliminary Planned Unit Development for Peltier Estates were <br />th <br />approved by the City Council at their March 24 meeting. Final documents are being <br />prepared and will be considered in May. Construction of the development could begin as <br />early as June. <br /> <br />Atlas Villas Memory Care Project (1825 Main Street) <br />Building construction work continues as the new facility takes shape on Main Street. <br /> <br />Driveway and Parking Ordinance Review <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission continues to work diligently on issues related to what <br />and where certain vehicles can be parked on residential properties. Both the existing <br />ordinance and the one being contemplated by P&Z do not allow parking of any vehicles in <br />the front yard (not on the driveway). <br /> <br />Block 7 Property <br />(Downtown) <br />A Memorandum of <br />Understanding has been <br />signed between the City and <br />Centra Homes to further <br />detail the agreement for <br />constructing townhomes on <br />the Block 7 property in the <br />Homes is working with an <br />architect to explore various <br />site layouts, townhome <br />models and driveway and <br />visitor parking arrangements. <br />These options were shared <br />with the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission and City <br />Council, both of whom <br />gravitated towards Option 3 <br />(left). A neighborhood <br />meeting is scheduled for 5 PM on June 9 at city hall. Developers and city staff will be on <br />hand to answer any questions and take input from residents. <br /> <br />Development Inquiries <br /> Warehousing/Distribution Center for wholesaler looking for <br />120,000 sf building and add additional building in the future. <br /> Warehousing/Distribution Center looking for 15 acres to build 150,000 to 250,000 sf <br />building. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
