Hello Michelle and Russ,
Thank you very much for your responses.
To Mr. Koski, Mr. King, Mr. D. Love, Ms. Lakso and Mr. Mosher,
I understand Centerville is pushing for this for financial reasons to get aid not being received
today if they reach a number in the population. Is this your only objective regardless of the
consequences? Is this the only way to reach your
interests of the Centerville, or surrounding area residents. This was voted down once already by
the residents of Centerville. You listened then right? Where do each of you live? If you lived in
the newly built homes, townhouses OR the Centerville townhouses and homes within several
blocks of this project, how would you be voting tonight? What do you want for this community?
Something short term that will have detrimental long-term impacts in all areas?

To all, I am respectfully, again, requesting the answer to my questions.
1) What is the mission and purpose of the Centerville City Council and Mayor? Do you
have a mission statement? When the people of Centerville elected you, what were you
promising to do for them? Was it to represent the people? Maintain a safe atmosphere
and environment for those who live here? Continue to participate in the local businesses
who have made Centerville what it is all these years? Keep your city safe? Maintain its
upkeep, safety and sense of security?

2) Do you care about the 840+ people who have signed the petition to stop the apartment?
Hundreds of those signatures were people who reside in Centerville. The petition auto-
populated where the person signed from or a city other than the correct Centerville. My
address did as well. Have you taken the time to cross-reference those people to your
Centerville residents?

3) Have you read the reviews on the Developer or Management Company?

APARTMENT CONCERNS
1. The management company (Halverson Blaiser Group) has dozens and dozens of
unfavorable reviews. Click here to view some of the reviews. The company has local
apartments that look run down and are not properly managed, according to the reviews by
tenants. With an overall rating for 2.1/5 stars on Google, local residents are concerned about
Halverson and Blaiser Group.
There are multiple references of sexual harassment towards residents and employees
by both management and employees.
There are references of retaliatory/punitive behavior against whistleblowers and
residents.
There are multiple references highlighting promises made upfront and failing to deliver,
leading to an unkempt (not luxury) living space.
There are reviews of bedbugs and rats within 5 years of buildings being built.

2. The developer (Apollo Development) has commercial development experience, but not
residential. Do we want Centerville to be its first attempt?
