CITY OF CENTERVILLEREQUEST <br />FOR ACTION <br />Agenda Item # Department: RequestedMeetingDate: <br />June 2, 2021 <br />Parks and Recreation <br />VIII.3 <br />TITLE OF ISSUE: <br />Downtown Banners <br />BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br />Wednesday the Public Works Department installed the banners purchased by EDA in the the Downtown area <br />along Main Street. They add a certain pazazz to Centerville and are a very nice amenity. <br /> <br />Mr. Jim Weatherhead, EDA, who spearheaded the ordering, proper location, etc. with the project had been out <br />of town during the delivery process of the banners, connectors, etc. When he arrived into the City the Public <br />Works Department was installing the last banner.
