CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />REQUEST FOR ACTION <br />Agenda Item # Department: RequestedMeetingDate: <br />June 16, 2021 <br />EDA <br />VI.2 <br />TITLE OF ISSUE: <br />Partner Agency Report <br />BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br />ACRED - The larger group of stakeholders recently met (virtually) and reviewed development and growth in <br />the region. There is substantial investment going on in almost all sectors right now. The group also discussed <br />the group's plans for the remainder of the year and began to strategize for 2022. <br />Quad Area Chamber - The chamber has seen an uptick in new memberships and recently held a strategic <br />planning meeting to renew the group's mission statement. Business expos are being planned as part of the <br />various city festivals. <br />Hugo Area Business Association - Centerville's own Chef Hot Hands catered the HBA's monthly meeting and <br />had a chance to introduce himself to the group.
