Rehbein Commercial <br />The City Council recently <br />approved the preliminary plat for <br />the Rehbein Commercial <br />Development. This was the first <br />step in the approvals process for <br />the various elements of the <br />proposed development. <br />The developer has now made <br />application for Final Plat and has <br />submitted plans for the <br />construction of roads and utilities. <br />Approval of that application will <br />be considered at the July 14 <br />meeting. <br />1 - Belleville Landing <br />Apartments <br />The proposed 103-unit apartment <br />building required a Comprehensive Plan Amendment in order to continue with the project. <br />The City Council voted 3-2 in favor of approving the amendment. However, Comprehensive <br />Therefore, the action <br />failed. This means that the apartment may not move forward according to the current <br />proposal. <br />2 - NorBella Senior Living <br />The proposed, 40-unit, High Acuity Assisted Living and Memory Care facility (below) was <br />approved along with a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for its operation. Construction will <br />begin later this summer. <br />3 - Kwik Trip <br />A Kwik Trip convenience store, with car wash, gas and diesel was also approved as part of <br />the Rehbein Commercial Plat. The store would be located just west of MidwestOne Bank, <br />along Main Street. A timeline for construction has not yet been submitted. <br />Peterson Shores <br />An existing lot on Centerville Lake is proposed to be split into two lots. The proposed plat <br />will be on the planning commission agenda on July 13. <br /> <br />
