CITY OF CENTERVILLE REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION Agenda Item # Department: Requested Council Meeting Date: July 28, 2021 Planning XI.2 TITLE OF ISSUE: Preliminary Plat - Peterson Shores BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: At their July 13, 2021 meeting, the Planning and Zoning Commission held a public hearing and reviewed a Preliminary Plat known as Peterson Shores. The platted land is the parcel on which the current home at 7241 sits. The plat, takes this one parcel and splits it into two, fully conforming lots in the R-2 district, for which the property is currently zoned. See attached staff memo for more detail. The P&Z Commission voted unanimously to recommend approval of the Preliminary Plat conditioned on staff comments being addressed. The Preliminary Plat in this packet has been revised to show only the property owned by the applicant, addressing the comments of the City Engineer. COST AND SOURCE(S) OF FUNDING: No cost to city. Development will pay SAC/WAC/Stormwater and Park Fees as appropriate. REQUESTED COUNCIL ACTION: Motion to approve the Preliminary Plat for Peterson Shores contingent upon addressing the comments of all city staff and departments.
