CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />REQUEST FOR <br />COUNCIL ACTION <br />Agenda Item # Department: Requested Council Meeting Date: <br />September 8, 2021 <br />Planning and Zoning <br />IX.2 <br />TITLE OF ISSUE: <br />Fairview Street Easement Vacation <br />BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br />When Fairview Street was originally constructed, a temporary cul-de-sac was installed and easements were <br />granted to cover the full diameter of that part of the road. With the Rehbein Industrial Plat, Fairview Street will <br />be extended to the east and the cul-de-sac will be eliminated. Therefore, it would be appropriate for the city to <br />vacate the easements covering the temporary cul-de-sac (easements B and D in the attached description).
