City of Centerville <br />Planning and Zoning Minutes <br />December 8, 2020 <br /> <br />current estimate of material, and the letter of credit reduced by the percentage of material <br />reduction, matching the amount of material reduction, and all deficiencies noted will be <br />corrected by June 1, 2021. A roll call vote was taken. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />V. AWARDS, PRESENTATIONS AND APPEARANCES <br /> <br /> 1. Block 7 Redevelopment – Concept Plan Presentation <br /> <br /> a. Apollo Development <br /> <br />City Administrator Statz introduced Mr. Chris Harchengo of Apollo Development, who was there <br />to present a proposed townhome development. <br /> <br />Mr. Harchenko stated the development would consist of four buildings with 5 homes in each <br />building for a total of 20 slab-on-grade homes. The end units were approximately 1850 square feet <br />with four bedrooms, and the middle units were approximately 1800 square feet with three <br />bedrooms. Each home as a 24x22 garage. <br /> <br />Discussion took place regarding the cost of the townhomes, the building exterior, design, over-all <br />look of the homes, and the target market. <br /> <br />City Administrator Statz stated that there was another developer that he hoped would be able to <br />attend the meeting, and if they were still interested he would like to hold off on making a <br />recommendation until he had heard their proposal. <br /> <br />More discussion took place regarding fees and costs of building this development including <br />permits, Park Dedication, and SAC and WAC. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Haiden, seconded by Commissioner Broussard-Vickers to <br />recommend continuing to work with Apollo Development in conjunction with any other <br />developer that comes forward in the near future, based on the proposed concept for <br />development of Block 7. A roll call vote was taken. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />VI. OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br /> 1. None <br /> <br />VII. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br /> 1. Interim Use Permit – Rehbein Black Dirt <br /> <br />This item was handled directly after the Public Hearing. <br /> <br /> 2.
