<br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />Centerville Elementary School Expansion <br />Construction continues on schedule. <br /> <br />stnd <br />Old Mill Estates 1 and 2 Additions <br />The developer and city continue to work towards finishing the remaining work. <br /> <br />Although there has been significant progress, there are still a number of outstanding items. The <br />city is preparing to complete these items utilizing the developerÓs security if need be. A <br />deadline of September 7, has been established for the developer to complete the work before <br />the city would move in. <br /> <br />Block 7 Property (Downtown) <br />A purchase agreement has been signed with Centra Homes for the city-owned property on <br />Block 7 in the cityÓs downtown, mixed use district. The developer (Centra) is working on <br />submittal documents for a Preliminary Plat Application. <br /> <br />th <br /> <br />Centerville Storage (20Ave. Mini Storage) <br />Landscaping work is complete, and the developer anticipates paving in the coming weeks, with fence, <br />security camera and other finishing touches to follow. <br /> <br />Bay View Villas (Waterworks Site) <br />The developerÓs contractors have begun work on reestablishing the proper grades around the <br />pond. Work should resume on this effort in the coming days. <br /> <br />Although there has been significant progress, there are still a number of outstanding items. The <br />city is preparing to complete these items utilizing the developerÓs security if need be. A <br />deadline of September 7, has been established for the developer to complete the work before <br />the city would move in. <br /> <br />Atlas Villas Memory Care Project (1825 Main Street) <br />The developerÓs contractor has been digging the ponding area and completing soil <br />corrections in the parking lot area. Site work should continue and be completed in the <br />coming weeks. <br /> <br />Development Inquiries <br /> Additional inquiries from Brew Pub developer. <br /> Developer of ÐMaxi-StorageÑ facility looking at industrial properties <br /> <br />Rehbein Commercial <br />A developerÓs agreement has now been signed by the city and developer. The city is waiting <br />on securities, insurance and other documents to be submitted prior to signing the final plat <br />and authorizing its recording. A preconstruction conference for the public infrastructure <br />work (sewer, water, road) is being held the week of September 7. Construction should begin <br />shortly thereafter. <br /> <br />Kwik Trip <br />No new news with this portion of the development. <br /> <br /> <br />
