COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />Resolution # 21- &Z <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A PRELIMINARY BUDGET AND TAX LEVIES FOR 2022 <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has given input to staff regarding the 2022 General Fund Budget and Property <br />Tax Levy at several work sessions in 2021; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Centerville, County of Anoka, <br />State of Minnesota, that the preliminary city budget is hereby adopted as follows: <br />General Fund $2,929,022 <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following sums of money be transmitted to Anoka County for <br />purposes of a preliminary property tax levy for purposes of the Truth in Taxation property taxes notice for the <br />following purposes: <br />General Fund Levy <br />$2,487,663 <br />Debt Service Levies: <br />Anoka Co 33 - Fund 302 — 2016 GO Cable TV Capital Note <br />$0 <br />Anoka Co 34 - Fund 351 — 2016A GO Special Assmt Refunding <br />196,512 <br />Anoka Co 35 — Fund 353 — 2021A MGO Special Assmt Refunding <br />132,286 <br />Total Debt Levy <br />$328,798 <br />Total Proposed Tax Levy <br />2 816 356 <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that because sufficient funds have been irrevocably deposited into the debt <br />service fund, the following levy amounts are hereby cancelled: <br />Anoka Co 33 - Fund 302 — 2016 GO Cable TV Capital Note $7,736.44 <br />Anoka Co 34 - Fund 351 — 2016A GO Special Assmt Refunding 36,999.72 <br />Anoka Co 35 Fund 353 - 2021A GO S)ecial Assmt Refunding— _ — __. m 7,364.00 <br />Total Cancelled Levy ."52,100.16 <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Administrator is hereby instructed to transmit a certified copy of <br />this resolution to the county auditor of Anoka County, Minnesota along with all required documentation. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council sets the date for the Truth in Taxation budget hearing <br />for December 8, 2021 at 6:30 PM at Centerville City Hall. <br />Passed and Adopted by the City of Centerville this 22nd day of September, 2021. <br /> Mayor, D.
