City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />May 4, 2021 <br /> <br />taken. Mayor Love and Council Members King, Koski, Lakso & Mosher voted in favor. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />2. Consideration of Agenda Items for May 12, 2021 City Council Meeting <br /> <br />Mayor Love stated that he believes this has been determined based on the discussion and actions <br />just taken by the Council. <br /> <br />Administrator Statz suggested having a motion to hold a public hearing on May 26, 2021 at 5:00 <br />p.m. prior to the regular City Council meeting. He stated that he will need to know if the Council <br />would like those items on the agenda at the regular meeting that same night. He stated that time <br />is of the essence for both the developer and the City’s 120 day limit. <br /> <br />Mayor Love suggested that they be included on the agenda that night because the Council can <br />always table them until the first meeting in June, if necessary. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lakso, seconded by Council Member Koski, to set the public <br />hearings for 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 for all pending zoning applications <br />related to Rehbein Commercial and Ordinance amendment. A roll-call vote was taken. <br />Mayor Love and Council Members King, Koski, Lakso & Mosher voted in favor. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Council Member Koski stated that if it is at all possible he would prefer to hold the public hearing <br />in person rather than through Zoom. <br /> <br />Administrator Statz discussed possible options for holding the public hearings in person. <br /> <br />There was consensus to hold the public hearings via Zoom. <br /> <br />IX. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. None <br /> <br /> X. COUNCIL/ADMINISTRATOR ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> <br />1. Administrator/Engineer Report <br /> <br />Administrator Statz noted that the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting was set to begin, so <br />he will give his report at a future time. <br /> <br />XI.
