<br />telecommunicationsequipmentistelecommunicationsequipmentproducedbyHuaweiTechnologiesCompanyor
<br />ZTECorporation(oranysubsidiary

<br />(i)Forthepurposeofpublicsafety,securityofgovernmentfacilities,physicalsecuritysurveillanceofcritical
<br />infrastructure,andothernationalsecuritypurposes,videosurveillanceandtelecommunicationsequipment
<br />producedbyHyteraCommunicationsCorporation,HangzhouHikvisionDigitalTechnologyCompany,orDahua
<br />TechnologyCompany(oranysubsidiaryoraffiliateofsuchentities).
<br />(ii)Telecommunicationsorvideosurveillanceservicesprovidedbysuchentitiesorusingsuchequipment.
<br />(iii)Telecommunicationsorvideosurveillanceequipmentorservicesproducedorprovidedbyanentitythat
<br />theSecretaryofDefense,inconsultationwiththeDirectoroftheNationalIntelligenceortheDirectorofthe
