7. Size and Layout of Similar Facilities and References Describe relevant experience and provide information on at least three (3) reference projects completed in the last six (6) years in similar climates to Minnesota. Provide references and contact information including phone number and email addresses. 8. Submit a Design of your Proposed Skate Park. Submit a design that fits in the scope of the bid. This should not be examples of skate parks that have been already created. Submit a uniquely designed skate park for Carpenter Park. 9. Total Project Cost with Separated Design and Construction Cost The project cost, not to exceed $230,000, should be separated as follows: a. Detailed design cost including number of city meetings, number of detailed drawings, etc. b. Detailed construction cost including cost of materials, labor, etc. Proposals that do not include a ÒNot to ExceedÓ cost will be disregarded without further consideration. It is the responsibility of the proposing firm to accurately predict the amount of time they require for services. 10. Insurance Certificate The Contractor shall provide proof of comprehensive general liability insurance in accordance with Section 466.04 of the Minnesota Statutes. 11. Additional Information Include any other information that is believed to be pertinent, but not specifically requested elsewhere in this RFP. Section 5 Contractor Selection Proposals will be reviewed and evaluated by City staff and the Skate Park sub-committee and based on the following criteria: 1. Consulting firm and key project staff experience. 2. Proven track record in successfully completing similar projects on time and within budget. Successful experience of the firm and the individual team members will be considered. 3. Proposed approach to completing the project. 4. Proposed project schedule. 5. Skate Park design specifically created for Carpenter Park. 6. Proposed design and construction cost. 7. References.
