The Planning and Zoning Commission held a <br />public hearing on a proposed Rezoning and <br />Conditional Use Permit for a proposed Building <br />Supply Yard for the former Northern Forest <br />Products building and the adjacent, vacant lot. <br />The Planning Commission recommended <br />approval of both proposed zoning applications. <br />The Rezoning would change the properties from <br />a B-2 (Main St. Commercial) zoning to a B-1 <br />(Commercial). This zoning allows a limited amount of outdoor storage. The proposed user <br />would remediate debris-filled soils on the vacant lot and make a substantial investment in the <br />existing building.
