Respectful, Innovative, Fiscally Responsible <br />Recycling Ambassadors <br />Join fellow waste reduction and recycling enthusiasts to learn about all facets of waste management and become <br />an advocate in your community. Learn why it is so important to recycle and compost the correct items and properly <br />dispose of your waste. After completing the course, graduates agree to volunteer 30 hours of <br />public outreach. Giving back is what makes the Recycling Ambassadors program special. Participants put their <br />skills to work by helping others learn to reduce their waste and create a better environment. <br />Unexpected absences policy <br />Attendance is required at all six classes; however, we understand that unexpected situations may arise that <br />prevent you from attending class. Please let the program coordinator know if you are going to miss a class. If you <br />miss two or more classes, you will be dropped from the class with an opportunity to participate in a later training <br />session if space allows. <br />Additional information <br />Information discussed in each class will be posted following the class on the Resources Page. <br />
