City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />September 8, 2021 <br /> <br />DeveloperÓs Agreement, the developerÓs lack of fulfilment to date, exploring alternative options <br />(decrease width of path, possible bridge/boardwalk construction in wetland and cost, property <br />ownerÓs willingness for clearing a narrower section of path (near home), etc. <br /> <br />City Council agreed to explore other options, receive cost estimates, and gather more information. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Council Member King, to Table this Item <br />for Two Weeks. All in favor. Motion carried. <br />2. Rehbein Industrial <br />a. Release of Temporary Easements <br />Administrator Statz stated that the items was previously discussed and that he had no additional <br />information to provide. Attorney Glaser <br />Motion by Council Member King, seconded by Council Member Koski, to Approve the <br />Release of the Temporary Easements as Presented. <br />Attorney Glaser stated that he would prepare findings that releasing the temporary easements as it <br />was in the publicÓs best interest. <br />All in favor. Motion carried. <br />3. Centennial Fire District Î 2022 Proposed Budget <br /> <br />Administrator Statz briefly reviewed this item and stated that there was a proposed 0% increase <br />and that each member city approves the Proposed Budget. Council Member Koski stated that <br />funding/expenditures remain steady while transitioning with the SBM administrative venture. He <br />stated that the joint effort has been working well and he anticipated that the relationship will <br />continue for some time. He stated that he did have concerns that in the future a 0% increase may <br />not be feasible. Mayor Love stated that the Fire Steering Committee participated in robust <br />discussions regarding the budget, that he felt it was very well thought out and unless unforeseen <br />events happen in the future there would not be any changes. Council Member King stated that he <br />has received positive feedback from firefighters, their desires to work with SBM and the direction <br />things are going in. <br /> <br />Both Mayor Love and Council Member Koski thanked Assistant Chief Peil and the Centennial <br />Fire District firefighters for their dedicated services. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Council Member King, to Approve the <br />Centennial Fire District 2022 Budget.
