PUBLIC SAFETY
Centennial Fire District
From Battalion Chief Matt Montain -
On February 1, 2022 there was a structure fire in the
city along Eagle Trail. All residents made it out of the
house safely and no firefighters were injured during the
extinguishment. The house is uninhabitable and all
utilities were shut off at the home.

There were more than 40 firefighters from four
departments (Centennial, SBM, Lino Lakes and
Lexington) working to extinguish the fire on a very cold
and windy evening.

Mayor Love reached out to offer support as the incident
was happening, and Councilman Mosher opened his
home to the family. Councilman Mosher’s willingness to
host the family in an effort to keep his neighbors safe
and warm during this tragic event is one of many
reasons that Centerville is so great!

Special thank you to Public Works for coming in last night – it was cold and icy

Check out The Fire Safety Tips Below
