PUBLIC SAFETY <br />Centennial Fire District <br />From Battalion Chief Matt Montain - <br />On February 1, 2022 there was a structure fire in the <br />city along Eagle Trail. All residents made it out of the <br />house safely and no firefighters were injured during the <br />extinguishment. The house is uninhabitable and all <br />utilities were shut off at the home. <br /> <br />There were more than 40 firefighters from four <br />departments (Centennial, SBM, Lino Lakes and <br />Lexington) working to extinguish the fire on a very cold <br />and windy evening. <br /> <br />Mayor Love reached out to offer support as the incident <br />was happening, and Councilman Mosher opened his <br />home to the family. Councilman Mosher’s willingness to <br />host the family in an effort to keep his neighbors safe <br />and warm during this tragic event is one of many <br />reasons that Centerville is so great! <br /> <br />Special thank you to Public Works for coming in last night – it was cold and icy <br /> <br />Check out The Fire Safety Tips Below <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
