City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes & Closed Exec. <br />August 11, 2021 <br /> <br />had been approximately a year ago and it never made it to Council due to vacancies, public <br />input, etc. He felt that Council would be considering it shortly. <br /> <br />d. Mosher – <br />i. Economic Development Authority – Council Member Mosher stated that he <br />hoped that the Business Appreciation event would have a good turnout. <br />ii. Police Governing Board – Council Member Mosher report that the Board swore <br />in a new officer, a new sergeant, lifesaving awards, Bola Wraps (instead of use of <br />a tazer) and keeping up with current tools. <br /> <br /> Mayor Love stated that discussion took place regarding the budget, tri-city formula and <br />potential for increased fees as we are growing (call volume and population) and <br />cablecasting of the meetings. <br /> <br />e. Love – <br />i. North Metro Telecommunications Commission – No report was given. <br />ii. Police Governing Board – No report was given. <br />iii. Fire Steering Committee – No report was given. <br /> <br />Other Mayor Reports –Mayor Love stated that due to recent, serious medical issues with his son <br />he has been unable to attend several meetings. He thanked the public for their prayers and stated <br />that his son was released from the hospital today. He stated that he will need continued medical <br />follow-up. <br /> <br />XI. ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member King, seconded by Council Member Mosher to Adjourn the <br />Regularly Scheduled Council Meeting of August 11, 2021 at 8:07 p.m. All in favor.
