Max Storage (Fairview <br />Street) <br />A public hearing was held on <br />February 1 to review an <br />application for a Conditional <br />Use Permit (CUP) to operate <br />what is being termed a ÐMaxi <br />StorageÑ facility. The <br />proposed development would <br />consist of 2 buildings, each <br />with 8 for-lease units which would <br />include a large overhead door, and <br />enough space (50Ó x 208Ó) to house <br />equipment for small contractors <br />working in the trades. The heated <br />units may also be available for rental <br />to store personal items, such as RVs, <br />boats and other large equipment. <br />The Planning and Zoning <br />Commission had a number of <br />comments and questions for the <br />applicants to address, including <br />landscaping, operational and building <br />code issues. The public hearing for <br />the project has been left open to allow <br />for further public comment.
