CITY OF CENTERVILLE CITY COUNCIL MEETING January 12, 2022 6:30 p.m. Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held their regularly scheduled City Council Meeting on January 12, 2022. The meeting was also live streamed by North Metro TV. COUNCIL MEETING I. CALL TO ORDER Mayor D. Love called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. PRESENT: Mayor D. Love Council Member Steve King Council Member Darrin Mosher Council Member Russ Koski Not Approved Council Member Michelle Lakso Jr. Council Member Danny ABSENT: Administrator Mark Statz STAFF: City Attorney Kurt Glaser II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Mayor Love provided an opportunity for others to add or delete items. Mayor Love added remote meetings as item 5 under New Business. He also noted the Snow Plowing Policy as item 4 under New Business. City Attorney added check numbers 9209-9231, 9208 under consent; check 9125 was voided. Motion by Council Member Lakso, seconded by Council Member King to Approve the Agenda as Amended. All in favor. Motion carried. IV. APPOINTMENTS/PRESENTATIONS 1. Special Guest Speaker - There was a special presentation from the League of MN Cities to honor Mayor Love for his leadership with the League. Brad Wersom, Mayor of Minnetonka, and former LMCIT Board spoke about the mayorÓs devotion to his family and community. Dave Kalister, Plymouth City Manager, and Chair of LMCIT Board provided additional comments to honor the mayor; he also thanked the mayor, his wife, and the city for sharing him with the League. Council Member Koski thanked the mayor from the city and citizens, adding that the mayor has been a great role model for him. The meeting stopped for a technical cable issue at 6: 32. The Mayor declared a recess, and resumed the meeting at 6:38 p.m.
