CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />January 12, 2022 <br />6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held their regularly scheduled City <br />Council Meeting on January 12, 2022. The meeting was also live streamed by North Metro TV. <br /> <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor D. Love called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. <br />PRESENT: Mayor D. Love <br />Council Member Steve King <br />Council Member Darrin Mosher <br />Council Member Russ Koski <br />Not Approved <br />Council Member Michelle Lakso <br />Jr. Council Member Danny <br />ABSENT: Administrator Mark Statz <br />STAFF: City Attorney Kurt Glaser <br />II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Mayor Love provided an opportunity for others to add or delete items. Mayor Love added remote <br />meetings as item 5 under New Business. He also noted the Snow Plowing Policy as item 4 under <br />New Business. City Attorney added check numbers 9209-9231, 9208 under consent; check 9125 <br />was voided. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Lakso, seconded by Council Member King to Approve the <br />Agenda as Amended. All in favor. Motion carried. <br />IV. APPOINTMENTS/PRESENTATIONS <br />1. Special Guest Speaker - There was a special presentation from the League of MN Cities to <br />honor Mayor Love for his leadership with the League. Brad Wersom, Mayor of <br />Minnetonka, and former LMCIT Board spoke about the mayorÓs devotion to his family <br />and community. Dave Kalister, Plymouth City Manager, and Chair of LMCIT Board <br />provided additional comments to honor the mayor; he also thanked the mayor, his wife, <br />and the city for sharing him with the League. Council Member Koski thanked the mayor <br />from the city and citizens, adding that the mayor has been a great role model for him. <br /> <br />The meeting stopped for a technical cable issue at 6: 32. The Mayor declared a recess, and <br />resumed the meeting at 6:38 p.m. <br /> <br />
