City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />January 12, 2022 <br />1. AdministratorÓs/Engineer Report Î Attorney Glaser is filling in for administrator <br />Statz who is sick. Attorney Glaser reported that they are going back to full courts, <br />which is good because of the back log of work. It is highly likely they will be <br />working from home again soon due to the pandemic. Attorney Glaser thanked the <br />board for reappointing him and let the council know that he enjoys his working <br />with them. <br /> <br />2. Council Reports <br />a. Lakso - <br />i. Parks and Recreation Committee Î Upcoming skate/sled night & <br />planning for music in the park, and the fete de lacs meeting. <br />ii. Anoka County Fire Protection Council Î No report was given. <br /> <br />b. Koski - <br />i. Planning & Zoning Commission Î Council Member Koski stated <br />Discussion topics were outside storage in residential areas. One of <br />the points of contention at the public hearing was how far away from <br />the curb can vehicles be parked. Liquor requirements were also <br />discussed (establishments cannot be within 500 feet of a church or <br />school). <br />ii. Fire Steering Committee - Council Member Koski stated that there <br />has not been a meeting; however, there may be one later in the <br />month. <br /> <br />c. King - <br />Economic Development Authority Î No report was given. <br />d. Mosher - <br />i. Economic Development Authority Î No report was given. <br />ii. Police Governing Board Î No report was given. <br /> <br />e. Love - <br />i. Police Governing Board Î No report was given. <br />ii. Fire Steering Committee Î No report was given. <br />iii. Other Mayor Reports Î Mayor Love welcomed Jr. Council <br />Member Danny; he also thanked all the Council Members for their <br />service. Mayor Love also mentioned that he had an opportunity to <br />talk with members in other communities about the importance of <br />civility and the importance of Ðpush positivity.Ñ <br /> <br />XI. ADJOURNMENT <br />Motion by Council Member King, seconded by Council Member Lakso to Adjourn the <br />Regularly Scheduled Council Meeting at 8:38 p.m. All in favor.
