0- MU-5-0- W-RIM".1 <br />ca V wiapi OLIN 310 1 p) 14kyj 1 NJ " 11 <br />WHEREAS, the Resolution of the City Council of Centerville authorized the <br />creation of the Economic Development Authority of the City of Centerville, and thusly <br />defined the initial terms of office for the three appointed commissioners in successive <br />periods of three, four, and five years; and, <br />WHEREAS, the city received a resignation., creating a vacancy for the unexpired <br />three-year term expiring on July 30, 2021; and, <br />WHEREAS, the city's Economic Development Authority (EDA) interviewed <br />candidates on January 20, 2021, and unanimously selected Mark Remillard to serve on the <br />EDA; and, <br />WHEREAS, Mark Remillard was sworn into office on. February 1, 2021; and, <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the city of Centerville by and <br />through its City Council, hereby authorizes the appointment of Mark Remillard to the <br />Economic Development Authority (EDA) to fill the term that expired on July 30, 2021, <br />along with six additional years, expiring on July 30,2027, as out lined in the EDA by-laws; <br />and, <br />BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, the City Administrator, or their designee, is <br />authorized to execute on behalf of the city/town, any documents necessary to effectuate <br />this decision to approve the appointment to the Economic Development Authority (EDA). <br />Passed by the City Council of the City of Centerville this 13th day of April, 2022. <br />D.
