Centerville2040 Comprehensive Plan It is the policy of the City of Centerville to: Develop land use development standards that promotesafe and efficient access to the transportation system. Develop land usesand access spacing guidelines compatible with the functional classification of the regional highway system. Establish a local transportation network which preserves neighborhood identity while linking together neighborhoods, community parks and facilities. Identify long term transportation corridors to provide access to and within the City as development occurs. Identify potential trail corridors for long term linkage to neighborhoods, public parks and businesses and construct those trails as funding allows. Coordinate transportation planning and system improvements with surrounding communities as well as Anoka County and the Minnesota Department of Transportation. Work with the MetroTransit to maximize transit opportunities for the community.
