He also stated that most contracts have a clause that either party may cease the <br />contract with a 30/60/90 day notice. Administrator Statz stated that if it were a contract for <br />lawnmowing services, staff would maybe adjust how many times the grass is cut during the month, <br />cease the contract or rebid, etc. <br />Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Council Member Lakso to Approve <br />Consent Agenda Items #7-9 as Presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br />VIIL OLD BUSINESS <br />1. Revised Draft of EDA Letter to Downtown Residents <br />Administrator Statz reviewed the Request for Council Action with Council as submitted in Council <br />packet. He stated that staff redrafted the letter following Council's comments from their previous <br />meeting; understanding concerns for privacy, expressing appreciation for the City's residents and <br />their input regarding development inquiries. Attorney Glaser stated that a verbal conversation was <br />not public record. Administrator Statz stated that Staff will follow up with a telephone <br />call/personal visit. <br />Consensus of the Council was to add language that if a resident did not desire to have their <br />comments become a part of the public record, they should contact Administrator Statz via <br />telephone. If a resident was fine with their comments being a part of the public record, they could <br />email Administrator Statz <br />Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Council Member Mosher to Approve the <br />Presented Letter for Forwarding to Downtown Residents with the Added Lansuasm All in <br />favor. Motion carried. <br />IX. NEW BUSINESS <br />1. Res. #22-OXX - Designating Centerville as a Yellow Ribbon Community <br />Assistant Administrator Lewis reviewed with Council the presented Request for Council Action <br />that was contained in the packet which also addressed the resolution and its purpose. Ms. Lewis <br />explained that the City has in the past participated in support, but adopting a resolution would <br />formalize and memorialize the City's support of all of Centerville's veterans and programs the <br />City could offer in the future. <br />Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Council Member Lakso to Adopt Res. #22- <br />009 Designating Centerville as a Yellow Ribbon Community as Presented. All in favor. <br />Motion carried. <br />2. Res. #22-OXX — Authorizing EDA Appointment <br />Assistant Administrator Lewis reviewed with Council the presented Request for Council Action <br />that was contained in the packet which also addressed the resolution and its purpose. Ms. Lewis <br />stated that this was a housekeeping item and noticed that it needed to be updated as Mr. Remillard <br />Page 6 of 10 <br />
