City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />April 13, 2022 <br />meeting due to that week being Fete des Lacs. <br />Motion by Council Member Mosher, seconded by Council Member Lakso to Reschedule the <br />Regularly Scheduled Council Meeting of July 13 to July 11, 2022. All in favor. Motion <br />carried. <br />Council Member Koski requested that discussion again be had regarding the possibility of <br />changing Council meeting dates from Wednesdays. It was determined that this discussion would <br />be held at a Work Session in the future. <br />X. COUNCIL/ADMINISTRATOR ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />1. Administrator/Engineer Report <br />Administrator Statz noted that the Administrator's Report was included in the packet and that he <br />would be happy to answer any questions regarding it. He provided an update of applications and <br />scheduled public hearing for Project Banjo. He stated that a meeting had been held with the City <br />of Lino Lakes, Minnesota Department of Transportation and Anoka County regarding impacts of <br />the development with the anticipated traffic for the project. He stated that the scheduled hearing r <br />is May 3, 2022 with the information possibly being forthcoming to the Council on May 25, 2022 <br />for consideration. He reported that discussions were had regarding intersection capacity for 20th <br />Avenue & Main Street and Fairview & Main Street along with trail connections, side roads, <br />entrances and little to no disruption for the off ramps. He also reported that the Planning & Zoning <br />Commission reviewed the second draft of the traffic study. Administrator Statz stated that the <br />meeting would be posted in case any Council Members desired to attend. Council Member Koski <br />requested that the traffic study be provided prior to the meeting for review. <br />Administrator Statz stated that there would be a first ever for the City of Centerville with the <br />offering of a Senior Wellness Health Fair scheduled for May 19, 2022 at St. Gen's Community <br />Parish Center. He stated that the event is being sponsored by vendors and organized by the Quad <br />Area Chamber of Commerce. <br />City Attorney Glaser - Attorney Glaser reminded the public that April 29, 2022 is Law Day at <br />the Anoka County Court House. He stated that appointments needed to be made prior to the day <br />of the event and that information could be obtained by contacting City Hall or the County. <br />Junior Council Member Peterson — Junior Council Member Peterson did not give a report. <br />2. Council Reports <br />a. Lakso — Council Member Lakso reported that she was unable to attend the recent <br />Parks & Recreation Committee Meeting and thanked Alternate Council Member <br />King for stepping in. She stated that due to his absence, Administrator Statz would <br />provide a review of the meeting. <br />Administrator Statz stated that the Committee had a very lengthy agenda which <br />addressed the Emerald Ash Borer Request for Proposals, several requests for use <br />Page 8of10 <br />
