Teresa Bender
From:
Paul Palzer
Sent:
Tuesday, April 26, 2022 7:43 AM
To:
Teresa Bender
Subject:
Fwd: No Mow May
Sent from my iPhone
Begin forwarded message:
From: Paul Palzer <PPalzer@centervillemn.com>
Date: April 22, 2022 at 11:24:43 AM CDT
To: Mark Statz <MStatz@centervillemn.com>
Subject: No Mow May
Hello Mark - This May we will be testing a program I saw on the news about not mowing in May to help
the pollinators in the area. We will be not mowing near the pollinating garden of Acorn Park and also
behind the ball field fences along the ditch at Laurie LaMotte park. I would ask for a volunteer from the
park and recreation committee to monitor this period and report back if this is an effective program. If
so, we can present to the entire city to participate next year? Thanks, Paul
