CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />WORK SESSION & CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />April 27, 2022 <br />6:30 p.m. <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held their regularly scheduled City <br />Council Work Session and City Council meeting on April 27, 2022 in Council Chambers of City <br />Hall and the meeting was also live streamed by North Metro TV. <br />COUNCIL WORK SESSION MEETING <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Love called the meeting to order at 5:01 p.m. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Not Approved <br />PRESENT: Mayor D. Love <br />Council Member Steve King <br />Council Member Russ Koski (Via Zoom) <br />Council Member Michelle Lakso <br />Council Member Darrin Mosher <br />ABSENT: Jr. Council Member Danny Peterson (Non-Voting) <br />STAFF: City Administrator Mark Statz <br /> Assistant City Administrator Athanasia Lewis <br /> Finance Director Bruce DeJong <br />II. ITEMS OF DISCUSSION <br />1. 2022-2023 Draft Strategic Plan <br />Administrator Statz reviewed the submitted Request for Council Action contained in Council’s <br />packet. He stated that revisions had been completed following Council’s feedback from the last <br />meeting. <br />Additional discussion was had. <br />2. Energy Cost Budget Impacts <br />Finance Director DeJong reviewed a Memorandum contained in Council’s packet regarding <br />proposed energy bill increases (Xcel, CenterPoint and Connexus Energy) and how same would <br />have implications on the 2022 and 2023 budgets. <br />3. Capital Projects Funding <br />Discussion Items #1 and #2 were lengthy discussions and to allow for a five (5) minute break prior <br />to the Regular Council meeting it was determine to discuss this item at the May 25, 2022 Council <br />Work Session prior to their Regularly Scheduled Council Meeting. <br /> <br />
