CITY OF CENTERVILLEREQUEST <br />FOR ACTION <br />Agenda Item # Department: RequestedMeetingDate: <br />June 7, 2022 <br />Planning and Zoning <br />VI.1 <br />TITLE OF ISSUE: <br />Atlas Villas Memory Care - Interim Use Permit Extension <br />BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br />The developers of the Atlas Villas Memory Care facility have experienced some delays due to supply chain and <br />building material cost overruns, during the construction of their building on Main Street. The Interim Use <br />Permit they were granted in 2020 allows the permit to be "...renewed annually, by the approval of the City <br />Council upon the Landowner's demonstration of their intent to seek an operating license...". The developer has <br />submitted a request for renewal and has demonstrated their intent to seek licensure. <br />Staff finds that the delays were beyond the control of the applicant and that they are still making a concerted <br />effort to obtain licensure.
