CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />REQUEST FOR <br />COUNCIL ACTION <br />Agenda Item # Department: Requested Council Meeting Date: <br />June 21, 2022 <br />Administration <br />IV.1 <br />TITLE OF ISSUE: <br />M Health Ambulance Service Annual Report <br />BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br />Each year, we ask our Ambulance Service provider to give us a report on their activity over the past 12 months. <br />Centerville is in the unique situation to have two options for Ambulance Service, where other cities have only <br />one. Two years ago, the city made a switch to M Health. Representatives from M Health will be on hand to <br />present information on call volumes, types, response times and more. <br />COST AND SOURCE(S) OF FUNDING: <br />There is no direct cost to the city for Ambulance Service. M Health leases space in our Fire Station ($500/mo.) <br />REQUESTED COUNCIL ACTION: <br />No formal action is requested.
