CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />REQUEST FOR <br />COUNCIL ACTION <br />Agenda Item # Department: Requested Council Meeting Date: <br />June 21, 2022 <br />Administration <br />VIII.2 <br />TITLE OF ISSUE: <br />2022 Thin Overlay and City Hall Parking Lot Improvements <br />BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br />After a three-year hiatus to facilitate the street reconstruction in downtown, the Thin Bituminous Overlay <br />Program is gearing back up. Attached is a Feasibility Report with details of the project, which also includes <br />work on the City Hall Parking Lot. <br />The city has traditionally partially assessed these overlay projects to adjoining properties. In order to do that, <br />we must follow the process laid out in MN State Statute Chapter 429.
