CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />Administrator Statz stated that he would like to add a check listing as provided at the meeting as a <br />handout. He explained that the check numbers were missing due to the Sr. Account Clerks <br />absence. <br /> <br />1. City of Centerville Claims through May 11, 2022 as presented (Check <br />#35053-35076), (E1874 - 1878E) & Check Listing Handout <br />2. Centennial Lakes Police Department Claims through May 5, 2022 (Check <br />#14308-14318), (E2022032-E2022033), Payroll (Check #14306-14307) & <br />Voided Check #13990 <br />3. Centennial Fire District Claims through April 26, 2022 (Check #9295-9301) <br />& Payroll (Check #9292-9294) <br />4. Parks & Recreation Committee Recommendation – Res. #22-0XX – <br />Accepting Donation from Centerville Lions Club (Parks & Rec. Fund) <br />5. Lawn Mowing Contract Amendment (RJ Property Maintenance) <br />6. Honoring our Veterans – Quad Press/Citizen Ad <br /> <br />Mayor Love provided an opportunity for others to add or delete any items. <br /> <br />Council Member Koski pulled Items #4, 5 & 6 from the Consent Agenda. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member King, seconded by Council Member Mosher to Approve <br />Consent Agenda Items #1-3 and Additional Checks as Presented. All in favor. Motion <br />carried. <br /> <br />Item #4 - Council Member Koski stated that the City received a donation from the Centerville <br />Lions in the amount of $500, extended a thank you to them for the donation and all that they do <br />for the community. He stated that he recently attended the Cadillac Dinner in April. He thanked <br />all who volunteered. <br /> <br />Mayor Love also thanked the Centerville Lions for their donation which he received and presented <br />to the Parks & Recreation Committee at their May meeting. He concurred with Council Member <br />Koski regarding the Lions’ volunteerism. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Council Member Mosher to Approve <br />Consent Agenda Item #4 as presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Item #5 - Council Member Koski stated that the lawn mowing contractor was requesting a fuel <br />surcharge due to the costs of fuel increasing $4/gallon according to their annual contract. <br />Administrator Statz stated that there was a clause in their existing contract for a fuel surcharge. <br />He stated that if the fuel prices reach $4 or higher the contract may be renegotiated. Council <br />Member Koski questioned if the cost were to decrease would the fuel surcharge also decrease. <br />Page 2 of 6 <br /> <br /> <br />
