CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />RES. #22-0 Q/ 7 <br />Alternate Resolution Ordering Preparation of Report on Improvement <br />2022 City Hall Parking Lot and Thin Overlay Street Improvements <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve the City Hall Parking lot by a full pavement removal and replacement <br />and all streets in the Hunter's Crossing 2' and 3" Additions, Pheasant Marsh lst, 2na and 3r1 Additions, <br />Durpe Road, from Partridge Place to a point 200 feet north of Center Street, and Progress Road, north of <br />Main Street with a thin asphalt overlay and to assess the benefited property for all or a portion of the cost <br />of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA: <br />That the proposed improvement, called the 2022 City Hall Parking Lot and 2022 Thin Overlay Street <br />Improvements be referred to Stantee for study and that they are instructed to report to the council with all <br />convenient speed advising the council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is <br />necessary, cost-effective, and feasible; whether it should best be :made as proposed or in connection with <br />some other improvement; the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended; and a description of the <br />methodology used to calculate individual assessments for affected parcels. <br />Adopted by the council this 8th day of June, 2022. <br />City Clerk <br />Mayor <br />
