COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />RES. #22- e��,. ,Z <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATION AND ORDERING <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS ON THE 2022 CITY HALL PARKING LOT AND <br />THIN MILL & OVERLAY <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the council June 21, 2022, the city engineer <br />(Stantec) has prepared plans and specifications for 2022 City Hall Parking Lot and Thin Overlay <br />Street Improvements Project, an improvement which will encompass the following <br />roadways/streets: within the Hunter's Crossing 2" and 3rd Additions, Pheasant Marsh lst, 2nd and <br />3rd Additions, Dupre Road — from Partridge Place to a point 200' north of Center Street and <br />Progress Road — north of Main Street and has presented such plans and specifications to the council <br />for approval; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA: <br />1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, <br />are hereby approved. <br />2. The city clerk is authorized to advertise for bids for the making of the improvement or <br />designate Stantec to act on the City's behalf in regards to the advertising for bids. The <br />advertisements for bids shall be published as required by law and notice shall state that bids will <br />be opened at 10 a.m. on August 10, 2022 at which time they will be publicly opened in the council <br />chambers of the city hail by the city clerk and engineer, will then be tabulated, and will be <br />considered by the council at their regularly scheduled meeting of August 10, 2022 commencing at <br />6:30 p.m. in the .council chambers of the city hall or within 90 days of the date of bid opening. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Centerville on July 11, 2022. <br />D.
