REUSE/RECYCLING EVENT + CLEANUP DAY <br />Evergreen Recycling accepted 7 couches, 7 loveseats, 5 chairs at <br />1.95 tons, 30 mattresses/box springs at 1.13 tons, 157 florescent <br />bulbs, 65 lbs. of household and 469.5 of lead/acid batteries. This <br />was a total of 4.85 tons. <br />Republic Services accepted a full dumpster of scrap metal at 2.14 <br />tons/4,280 lbs, a total of 26 appliances at 1.5 tons/2,923 lbs., 17 tires <br />and cardboard at .10 tons. <br />Mr. Michaels Recycles Bicycles accepted 30 bicycles (18 adult & <br />12 kids) at .39 tons/780 lbs. Of these bicycles, only 6 were <br />dismantled and used for parts. <br />RandyÓs Document Destruction accepted .8 tons/1,600 lbs. of paper. <br />East Side Oil Companies accepted 130 gallons of oil at 1,040 lbs/.52 tons. <br />The Reuse Tent/Salvation Army accepted 1.42 tons of recyclable/(reusable) items. <br />Centerville residents diverted a total of 11.72 tons of items from the landfill during this event. Way <br />to Go! <br />MAIN STREET MARKET <br />The first of six (6) Main Street Market events was held July 7, 2022 with 400+ individuals <br />visiting vendors (i.e., food, artisans/crafters, farmers and Dakota Clover ). The next event <br />will be on Thursday, July 14, 2022 from 5:30 Î 7:30 p.m. Please stop by on your way to <br />the Bald Eagle Water Ski Show commencing at 7 p.m. at Trailside Park. Please see page three (3) for <br />a QR code for the Market and additional information. <br /> <br />FETE DES LACS <br />st <br />The first (1) of four (4) mini medallions was claimed by Jon W. from <br />Centerville. The lucky winner received $100 cash. The next three (3) mini <br />medallions will be given away per the Fete Des Lacs schedule of events. <br />Please see page three (3) for a QR code for the Festival and additional <br />information. <br /> <br />
