<br />Centerville Schifsky PA version 09092022-2 for Council Packet <br /> <br />Target Demographics: <br />The target market includes a range of home buyers who are seeking an <br />affordable, new construction, low-maintenance home. <br /> <br />Townhomes appeal to buyers who seek a walkable, connected experience to their <br />hometown and surrounding amenities (outdoor recreation and parks, restaurants <br />and retail, schools and services). <br /> <br />Example target buyers include: <br />First-time home buyers. <br />Veterans and military personnel/active-duty families. <br />Empty nesters and seniors looking to downsize. <br />Lifecycle housing: often existing city residents who are seeking alternative <br />housing types but wish to remain in this community. <br /> <br />Affordability (2 units at 80% AMI): <br /> <br />The project will meet the CDBG Funds requirements via: <br />Two (2) homes sales will be restricted at cost limited to housing affordability thresholds <br />defined by Metropolitan Council for qualified households being certified as having <br />household income at or below 80% AMI. <br />Affordability will be preserved through protective 20-year covenants per home. <br /> <br />Land Purchase Price: <br /> <br />We look forward to the opportunity to work with you to determine a mutually agreeable and <br />appropriate land price.
