City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />July 11, 2022 <br /> <br />right-of-way and moved back. <br />All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />X. COUNCIL/ADMINISTRATOR ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> <br />1. Administrator/Engineer Report <br />Administrator Statz apologized for not completing the AdministratorÓs report and stated that it <br />would be completed the following day. He reported that all escrow payment have been received <br />from Amazon and that a pre-construction meeting would be occurring shortly. <br /> <br />He stated that Fete des Lacs begins this week and almost all events are free. He reported that <br />sponsorships were high this year and additional events have been added. Council Member Koski <br />stated that Music in the Park would be taking place the following evening and that information for <br />all events was available at: fetedeslacs.org or the Fete des Lacs Facebook. <br />Assistant City Administrator Lewis stated that the website was moving along with the ÐmoodÑ <br />board color palate being approved to match the colors in the City logo. She stated that swag bags <br />had been filled and will be handed out at Music in the Park. <br /> <br />Junior Council Member Peterson stated that Advanced Placement scores had be released and that <br />he passed both of the ones he participated in. He stated that he may participate in the 5/8K this <br />year. <br /> <br />City Attorney Glaser provided an update regarding Centra Homes and Block 7. He stated some of <br />the larger issues with the development have been the County regarding the setback from Centerville <br />Road, Community Development Block Grant funding, etc. <br />Council Reports <br />a. Lakso <br />Parks & Recreation Î No report was given due to absence. <br />Anoka County Fire Protection Council Î No report was given due to <br /> absence. <br />b. Koski Î stated that he had a brief discussion with a County Commissioner <br />regarding speed limits on County roads. <br />Planning & Zoning Commission Î Council Member Koski stated that the <br />meeting was rescheduled. <br />Fire Steering Committee Î Council Member Koski stated that the meeting <br />was scheduled for July 21, 2022 with a meet and greet following the <br /> meeting. <br />c. King <br />Economic Development Authority Î Council Member King gave no <br /> report. <br /> Fire Steering Committee Î Council Member King gave no report. <br />Page 5 of 6 <br /> <br />
