COUNTY OF ANOKA CITY OF CENTERVILLE Resolution # 22- ,DZ4 A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A PRELIMINARY BUDGET AND TAX LEVIES FOR 2023 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA WHEREAS, the City Council has given input to staff regarding the 2023 General Fund Budget and Property Tax Levy at several work sessions in 2022; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Centerville, County of Anoka, State of Minnesota, that the preliminary city budget is hereby adopted as follows: General Fund $2,984,972 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following sums of money be transmitted to Anoka County for purposes of a preliminary property tax levy for purposes of the Truth in Taxation property taxes notice for the following purposes: General Fund Levy $2,608,872 Debt Service Levies: Anoka Co 33 - Fund 302 — 2016 GO Cable TV Capital Note $0 Anoka Co 34 - Fund 351 — 2016A GO Special Assmt Refunding 234,168 Anoka Co 35 — Fund 353 — 2021A GO Sj�ecial Assmt Refunding, 76.840 Total Debt Levy S311,008 Total Proposed Tax Levy 2.9 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that because sufficient funds have been irrevocably deposited into the debt service fund, the following levy amounts are hereby cancelled: Anoka Co 33 - Fund 302 — 2016 GO Cable TV Capital Note $7,596.16 Anoka Co 35 - Fund 353 - 2021A GO Special Assmt Refundin! , 50,000.00 Total Cancelled Levy 57� BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Administrator is hereby instructed to transmit a certified copy of this resolution to the county auditor of Anoka County, Minnesota along with all required documentation. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council sets the date for the Truth in Taxation budget hearing for December 14, 2022 at 6:30 PM at Centerville City Hall.
