CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING & CLOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />September 14, 2022 <br />6:30 p.m. <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held their regularly scheduled City <br />Council meeting and Closed Executive Session on September 14, 2022 in Council Chambers of <br />City Hall and the meeting was also live streamed by North Metro TV. <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor D. Love called the meeting to order at 6:31 p.m. <br />ROLL CALL <br />PRESENT: Mayor D. Love Not Approved <br />Council Member Darrin Mosher <br />Council Member Steve King <br />Council Member Michelle Lakso <br />Junior Council Member Danny Peterson (Non -Voting) <br />ABSENT: Council Member Russ Koski <br />STAFF: City Administrator Mark Statz <br />City Attorney Kurt Glaser <br />II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Mayor Love stated there is an addition item under Approval of Minutes, we are adding the July <br />11, July 27, and August 10 minutes. Under the Consent Agenda City of Centerville claims through <br />9-14-22 adding checks 935350 through #35970 and E_Checks 41942E-1944E and voided check <br />935333. Mayor Love provided an opportunity for others to add or delete any items. <br />Administrator Statz pointed out that there is also a Public Comment that they added to <br />Appointments and Presentations from resident Mr. Tony Smith, 7370 Peltier Circle. <br />Motion by Council Member Lakso, seconded by Council Member King to Approve the <br />Agenda with the noted changes, as presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br />IV. APPOINTMENTS/PRESENTATIONS <br />Mr. Tony Smith, 7370 Peltier Circle, stated that he is a concerned citizen about the process of <br />obtaining a permit for an accessory structure on the side yard of his house. He stated that he wanted <br />to build a small garden shed for his wife. He stated that he turned in his application and plans and <br />it was denied by the Building Inspector because the placement of the shed. He stated he spoke to <br />a new Planning and Zoning member and spoke to Ms. Bender and said Ms. Bender was great and <br />
