CITY OF CENTERVILLE CITY COUNCIL MEETING & CLOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION September 14, 2022 6:30 p.m. Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held their regularly scheduled City Council meeting and Closed Executive Session on September 14, 2022 in Council Chambers of City Hall and the meeting was also live streamed by North Metro TV. COUNCIL MEETING I. CALL TO ORDER Mayor D. Love called the meeting to order at 6:31 p.m. ROLL CALL PRESENT: Mayor D. Love Not Approved Council Member Darrin Mosher Council Member Steve King Council Member Michelle Lakso Junior Council Member Danny Peterson (Non -Voting) ABSENT: Council Member Russ Koski STAFF: City Administrator Mark Statz City Attorney Kurt Glaser II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Mayor Love stated there is an addition item under Approval of Minutes, we are adding the July 11, July 27, and August 10 minutes. Under the Consent Agenda City of Centerville claims through 9-14-22 adding checks 935350 through #35970 and E_Checks 41942E-1944E and voided check 935333. Mayor Love provided an opportunity for others to add or delete any items. Administrator Statz pointed out that there is also a Public Comment that they added to Appointments and Presentations from resident Mr. Tony Smith, 7370 Peltier Circle. Motion by Council Member Lakso, seconded by Council Member King to Approve the Agenda with the noted changes, as presented. All in favor. Motion carried. IV. APPOINTMENTS/PRESENTATIONS Mr. Tony Smith, 7370 Peltier Circle, stated that he is a concerned citizen about the process of obtaining a permit for an accessory structure on the side yard of his house. He stated that he wanted to build a small garden shed for his wife. He stated that he turned in his application and plans and it was denied by the Building Inspector because the placement of the shed. He stated he spoke to a new Planning and Zoning member and spoke to Ms. Bender and said Ms. Bender was great and
