The <br />program offers half -priced hook-up charges for businesses hooking to city water. <br />Wellhead Protection Plan <br />The Minnesota Department of Health held a kick-off meeting with city staff and consultants for the <br />implementation of the city's Part-2 Wellhead Protection Plan. The group reviewed items in the documents <br />and the timelines associated with various activities. Staff will be following up on the action items over the <br />course of the next few months. <br />Well #2 Repairs <br />City staff has applied for a reimbursement grant from Xcel Energy for the installation of the Variable <br />Frequency Drive (VFD), used in the repairs for Well 42. <br />2022 Thin Overlay Program and <br />City Hall Parking Lot Improvements <br />Construction on the 2022 Thin Overlay <br />Program and City Hall Parking Lot <br />project is substantially complete. <br />Striping of the City Hall parking lot <br />will take place the week of October 10 <br />and other minor punch list items will <br />follow. An Assessment Hearing will be <br />scheduled in the near future to finalize <br />individual assessments for the overlay <br />portions of the project. <br />City Hall Parking Lot Lighting <br />The City Council reviewed and <br />approved plans for proposed lighting at City Hall <br />of 2023 in an effort to allow time to secure <br />Administration (OSHA). <br />The work would be quoted for construction in the spring <br />a grant through the Occupational Safety and Health <br />
